The Historical Society of Orange Park meets at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of each month at historic Clarke House, 1039 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL, unless special circumstances are announced.  Each meeting features a guest speaker who will discuss a significant aspect of our local history followed by refreshments and conversation. Spring Park Spring-Fed Pool Opens – Spring Park, Green Cove Springs – Memorial Day to Labor Day the pool is open Tuesday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Labor Day through September 30, the schedule returns to a weekend only schedule with the same times. Pool Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for active military and seniors 65+ and $2 for children ages 2 – 17. Children under 2 are free. Swim lessons are available. 

Clay County Historic Museum – 915 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm - The Clay County Historic Museum is open for tours the first and third Sunday of each month from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. or by appointment. The museum’s newest exhibit celebrates the life and talent of long-time Clay County resident Slim Whitman, an international music sensation. Other exhibits include railroad memorabilia, a country kitchen, and country store display. Collections include hundreds of items, including early phonographs, medical equipment, cameras, typewriters, toasters, sewing machines, dolls, an elaborate doll house, vintage clothing, and many other items of everyday working and living.

August 13 - 1st DAY OF SCHOOL

Oct 7-12 – CalaVida Arts & Music Festival – CalaVida Music and Arts Festival - CalaVida Music and Arts Festival is a week-long celebration of local musicians and artists of all specialties. There will be Performances throughout the week. The week ends with a day-long music festival at Spring Park on Saturday.

Oct 19-20 – 37th Annual Orange Park Fall Festival – Orange Park Town Hall Park, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - The Fall Festival started with 12 vendors and a few guitar players. Thirty-five years later, our festival has over 200 vendors and two stages packed with entertainment. Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of food from barbeque and local seafood to fresh baked goods and locally  harvested honey. Kids can bounce on inflatables and get their faces painted. And, of course, the shopping is second to none with unique gifts, handmade quilts, pottery and even treats for your furry friends. Admission and parking are free! This event was ranked as a Top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society.
