Thru Nov 27-Town Hall Exhibit– Summer Project  The Art Guild of Orange Park invites you to the Town Hall of Orange Park to an exhibit displayed by over 20 of the Guild’s Artists that participated in a summer project sponsored by the Guild. A still life was displayed at the May 2019 meeting and the members had the opportunity to interpret their vision of the still life through a variety of mediums. At the September meeting the paintings were judged by the membership. They will be on display and for sale until November 27, 2019. A portion of each sale will go to our annual scholarship fund to benefit local High School Artists to further help in their creative endeavors and education.

Nov 2 - BOOK SALE - Saturday, 9 am till Noon, sponsored by the Friends of the Green Cove Springs Library, will be held on the front lawn of the Library at 403 Ferris Street (Route 16) in Green Cove Springs. A wide variety of books will be available for all ages. The cost for most hardback books will be $1.00; special books may be a little more. Cost for paperbacks will be 50 cents. All money received will be used to benefit library projects.

Nov 3 - Florida National Guard Foundation Poker Chip Run, Registration starts at 9 am, Kick Stands up at 10:30 AM. Food provided by Mission BBQ. Meal included with registration fee. meals also available for $8.00. Music Drawings and Vendors.

Nov 9 - Chili Cook Off Moosehaven 11am - 3pm  Car show awards 2pm Chili cook off awards 3pm. Moosehaven will host its Annual Chili Cook-Off, sanctioned by the International Chili Society as a Regional Cookoff.  It will be a fun day of music, craft vendors, a car show and some of the best chili around. Nov 9 - Advent Lutheran Church in Partnership with Orange Park Medical Center for a Health Fair and Blood Drive to be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 2156 Loch Rane Blvd. in Orange Park, Fl 32073, on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Free and open to the public and will provide health education and health assessments i.e. blood pressure and glucose checks, skin care testing, Medicare solutions and more. Also at the health fair, we’ll be highlighting services available to help you or a loved one manage long term care with Hospice, and other health care providers; and to visit a Wellness Center such as the YMCA of DYE Clay to learn about the fitness programs available as well as personal training and aquatic programs. Nov 16 - Advent Lutheran Church Annual Quilt Sale and Pet Blessing will be Saturday, Nov 16, 9am - 2pm. Items available for sale include quilts including baby quilts and other baby items, placemats, table toppers, hand crafted items and holiday decor.  Funds raised are used to buy supplies to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, local cancer centers, foster children and others. Pet Blessing is free to the community. Pets should be leashed or in carriers. Donations of pet food and supplies for the animal shelter are appreciated. Sale will be at Advent Lutheran Church, 2156 Loch Rane Blvd, Orange Park.

Nov 23 from 10 - 2:  A Cottage Christmas featuring 20 local Crafters and Vendors will open the doors of the Middleburg Civic Center at 2102 Palmetto St. (behind Wells Fargo Bank) in Middleburg, for your shopping pleasure.  Items include: home decor, baby blankets,tee shirts, beach totes, leather goods, consumable yummies, jewelry, cosmetics, and door prizes.

Dec 1 - 31 - Parade of Trees - Every December historic Spring Park is taken over by an arrangement of 150 decorated Christmas trees. Dec 3- Light the Park – Orange Park Town Hall, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm- Join Town Council and Staff as we light the town for the holidays. Attendees will enjoy live and interactive music, cookies and hot chocolate, and a reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Afterwards, helps us flip the switch and turn on all the lights. Dec 17 – Santa’s Firetruck Parade – Orange Park, time to be determined – A Town tradition and resident favorite every year, the OP Fire Department brings Santa Claus all throughout neighborhoods within the Town to ring in the Holiday Season and brighten everyone’s spirits. The Fire Department will provide more information and a route as the date approaches.
